I had begun to have pain in my hip joint after riding 4 -5+ hours. I thought it was just my age, and my rather wide Polish Arabian that caused the problem. However, after being convinced to try riding a Specialized Saddle, I was happily surprised that I had no more discomfort! Now both my horse and I are comfortable, regardless of the length of ride, and there was no break-in at all, the saddle was easy to sit from day one!
